The AIA Archives is located in the national AIA building at 1735 New York Avenue NW, Washington, DC, 20006. Research visits may be scheduled on weekdays by appointment with the archivist:

The AIA Archives is the official repository of material produced by the Institute's national component in its day-to-day activities. It documents AIA policies, programs, organization, administration, positions, and publications. It does not collect the drawings and papers of architects or firms.
