Finding aids to architects' collections in architectural archives normally have a section with biographical information about the architect and firm. Many finding aids are viewable online at the architectural archive's website.

 

National/international

American Architects Directory (Published by R.R. Bowker for the American Institute of Architects). 1st edition 1956; 2nd edition 1962; 3rd edition 1970. Entries noted by name in the AIA Historical Directory. Text of all three editions available in full on the AIA Historical Directory site.
